At the Cuero ISD Education Foundation, we are proud to support initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of students. Recently, our Grant Committee had the pleasure of awarding a special grant, titled the "Sensory Target Learning Zone," to three dedicated educators at Hunt Elementary School—Sarah Parsons, Deborrah DeClements, and Melissa Battles. This grant will have a significant impact on students receiving special education services in the Life Skills classrooms, providing them with essential tools to foster positive behaviors and enhance engagement.
The "Sensory Target Learning Zone" grant will allow these teachers to purchase resources specifically designed to support adaptive learning techniques. These tools will empower students to identify and address their unique target behaviors in a way that encourages growth and development. By creating a supportive, sensory-friendly learning environment, this grant helps these students reach their full potential while promoting positive behavioral change.

In a heartfelt expression of appreciation, the teachers and students took the time to create a thoughtful "Thank You" card to convey their gratitude for the Education Foundation's support. The card, which is a beautiful testament to their joy and excitement, highlights the profound impact these resources will have on their learning journey. We are proud to share this card as a reminder of the meaningful difference the Education Foundation makes in the lives of students and educators alike.
This grant is just one example of the way your support contributes to enhancing educational experiences in Cuero ISD. We are grateful for the continued commitment of our donors, whose generosity allows us to fund projects that help our students thrive.
Thank you for your unwavering dedication to improving education in our community. Your contributions are truly making a difference.
